Diana Leggett has been a Denton County resident for over 30 years. She has helped thousands achieve justice as a legal administrator for Durand & Associates, P.C., the oldest law practice in Lewisville. Currently serving as Chair of the Animal Shelter Advisory Board for the City of Denton, she also volunteers enthusiastically with several nonprofit groups. In 2018 Diana ran for County Judge of the Commissioner’s Court and garnered the support of over 123,000 voters, including a majority in District 3, the area she now seeks to represent on Denton City Council. She is the founder and President of WildRescue, Inc., a nonprofit organization located here in the city of Denton, which is dedicated to the rehabilitation of wounded and abandoned native Texas wildlife for the goal of releasing them back to their natural habitats. Diana is a former Lewisville ISD art teacher, merit badge counselor and Eagle scout mom who led her troop from Tiger Cub through Webelos.
